- Diisopropanolmine is used for oil&gas treating, elimination of undesirable hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide from natural gas.
- Other applications:
- Fluorescent whitening agent: as raw material;
- Paint and coating: neutralizing agent for resin, assistant agent for dyeing, neutralizing agent for electrophoretic paint;
- Surfactant: to adjust the surface tension, as a good emulsifier, wetting agent;
- Metal working fluids: as a metal tempering preparation, antioxidant.
